We run workshops throughout the year based on Cognitive Behavioural techniques and strategies. Workshops are run by a qualified psychologist or psychotherapist and are usually administered in groups.
Who would benefit from a workshop?
Almost anyone can benefit from learning to use CBT based strategies to better manage their mood and their behaviours. Typically our workshops are aimed at people who just want to feel better about themselves, their lives and the future. Workshops may also be useful for mental health practitioners who want to better understand what CBT is and how it is applied in practice.
What does it involve?
Each workshop will introduce you to what CBT is and how it works. You will be immersed in experiential and theroretical work that ensures you not only understand CBT but can also apply it to yourselves in your everyday lives.
Each workshop has a general aim for example some will focus on managing low mood, some focus on managing anxiety while others will be more geared towards narrower fields such as social anxiety, anger management, self-confidence and self-esteem.
What does it cost and where would it take place?
For a half day workshop the cost is starts at £125 per person. It takes place in our therapy centre in Bloomsbury Central London.
How do I apply?
If you are interested in joining in on one of our workshops then please contact us by phone or email and we will advise you on the dates of the up and coming events. We will ask you some questions to ensure the workshop is right for you and then if it seems appropriate, we will book you in to the next appropriate workshop.
