It is easy to book an initial appointment by calling or e-mailing on the address above. You will first need to attend an Initial Assessment (IA). If it is agreed that you would benefit from group therapy, you will be allocated to the appropriate group. If group therapy is not suitable then other recommendations will be made. The sessions are held in Regents Park consultation centre (Baker Street tube, Central London) and Highgate Hill. WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY? What is said within therapy is confidential and is thus a place where you can disclose your innermost concerns without fear of being judged or without the fear that others will ever know. Confidentiality would only ever be compromised if there was a realistic possibility of serious harm to self or others. WHAT IF I AM TOO NERVOUS TO TALK IN FRONT OF THE GROUP? Feelings of nervousness are perfectly normal. You will be encouraged to work at your own pace. Each individual finds their own time and space to become involved. HOW LONG DOES THE GROUP RUN FOR? Most of our groups are open ended, meaning you can attend until you feel you no longer need to. Some groups with limited focus such as just dealing with Social Anxiety or Abuse can be time limited. HOW OFTEN MUST I ATTEND? It is important to attend regularly and in joining the group you do make a commitment to yourself and the other group members who will become your learning and development partners. There are periodic breaks for Xmas/New Year, Easter and Summer. WHAT WILL IT COST AND WHAT IS THE PAYMENT METHOD? Each group meeting will cost £20. The Initial Assessment (IA) cost £60 plus a small £1.85 card surcharge. We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards.
